@90rampen I’m not sure how to get 3D objects in, but to bring in pics with no background they have to be GIFs with the background set to transparent. It’s really easy in photoshop.

this dosen`work for me :S i need help to find out how to get pics in Flash CS5 …
with no backgound , only the “dude” or something…. or how to get 3D stuff in it.

Thanks dude. I’ve had Macromedia Flash 4 for the longest time now(LOL) so when i finally got Adobe Flash CS5, the commands were so confusing. so this helps

What you should mention is what you do when you want to apply more that one code! This is particularly confusing for new people because yes you apply an STOP code and then what do you keep applying more code on same frame? This will drive crazy a beginner. It is okay that you show the sniped code but there is more to that! Where the action goes? in a frame or in an object (only movie clips BTW!) also what next when you want more than one code?

I just got CS5 today, and i am so confused. Im so good with Photoshop cs4, but this flash threw me off. I want to know if those layers to the left of the timeline are different layers like different characters or are they new scenes added on?

I got the bundle with Photoshop, Illustrator and flash Dream weaver InDesign, FireWorks, etc and hoping they’ll work, I’ll be able to animate and edit and all that
There better be animating in me course…

@m0n4c3 but what about when cs6 comes out with three really awsome features that we all want and so we spend the couple hundred to upgrade dam adobe knows how to take our money. i swear they have all these new features stored waiting for each new creative suite and are chucking a few in at time

Please help, my flash file loads the “xp” figure but doesnt extend the green bar chart and where “Jo’s experience level” goes it just reads “undefined’s Experience Level” any help would be very much appreciated. thanks

@normanpinto Of course, that is set in the PHP file, in the mysql_query. If he wouldn’t have set LIMIT to 1 you can get all members through the mysql_fetch_array while loop.

can the number of bars be dynamically generated in flash depending on the members (joe, sally, tom, jerry etc) so each user will have one bar and his score?
