It’s a flash debugger I made over the course of 2 days. It’s written in AS2, and only requires the source .as and 2 lines of code to integrate. Features dynamic function calling, variable assigning, a “tree listing” feature, variable tracking, and a bunch of other stuff. It still needs some work with error handling and typos, but once those are fixed, I’ll put the source up, along with an explanation of how to use it.

Question by Momio32: What does this message mean???
When I sign onto my AOL I get a pop up called ‘just-in-time debugging’. It says please select a debugger and the only highlighted listed debugger is ‘new instance of microsoft script editor’ and then says, “do you want to debug using the selected debugger?”. I have to click the NO button 6 times for the pop up to disappear, just for it to pop up again. When I click YES it brings me to a new screen with tons of lines of code, and I have no idea what all of it means. What is this and how do I fix it or get rid of it permanently?? It’s so annoying, I can’t use AOL.
Question by jmann942: Unable to turn pc on?
I had a trojan earlier this week, something to do with Whitesmoke Translator…thought I got rid of it via Malware Bytes Anti-malware, and AVG (free edition), but then I started getting a “Just-in-time debugger” pop up regarding Microsoft Script Editor. Found a way to get that to stop, but around the same time, I started getting a “Generic Host process for Win32 Services encountered a problem and needs to close” pop up. Regardless of what I did with that (Send Error Report, Don’t Send, “X” out), it would freeze any web browser(s) and ultimately require me to shut down completely. My wife was on the computer last night when this happened. She tried to shut down using “Start” menu, then by using the Power button, neither of which worked. I ended up turning off the power via the power strip (which is what I had been doing when it happened to me) but now I can’t get the computer to turn back on at all. There is a light on the back of the PSU that blinks when I plug the unit in, but if I disconnect the 24 pin main motherboard plug, the indicator light comes on steady. (When I disconnect any other component, the indicator light still blinks.) Does this mean the motherboard is fried? If so and I replace it, is there a risk that the virus is still on the HD and will fry the new motherboard, as well?
OS is win xp sp3 (media center edition)…not sure what “event viewer is”…I do know how to access command prompt, however, my issue is that I cannot turn the machine on at all.
I guess my first question should be how do I get the machine to turn on?
